Seven PM I left Norfolk Virginia a little night trip down to Alabam

Early next morning I was loaded and ready hauling rolled steel out of Birmingham

Got my eyes on the road my back to the load and my hands on the wheel

Dropped off a load out in San Diego layed up with a girl who lives by the bay

Called my dispatcher and I'm hauling nitro but it's alright I'm gonna get double pay

I'm making a midnight run to Miami hauling nine pound hammers out of Sagina
